RHS Band Incoming Freshmen, We are SO excited to start working with you all and to welcome you into the Golden Eagle Band Family! Just a quick reminder that Freshman Camp starts on Wednesday, July 27. We start promptly at 7:30am in the morning in the RHS Band Hall. You’ll want to arrive at least 15 minutes early in order to get grouped up by section. You do NOT need your instrument Wednesday. You will need it Thursday and Friday. Hello GEB! This is your friendly reminder that our Golden Eagle Band Orientation is TODAY (April 16th) from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Please bring your marching gear (tennis shoes, shorts, water, sunscreen, etc.). We will be marching, playing our instruments and unveiling the 2016 marching show! Of the students who advanced and auditioned at Area this past Saturday, three students have made the Texas 6A All-State Band! This is the highest honor that a student can achieve in music at the high school level. Less than 1% of students involved in band, orchestra or choir have a chance to be a part of this experience. Read more →RHS represented extremely well at the 9th All-Region Band auditions. We had 18 students place in the band, giving us the third most in Region 3! This is the greatest number of musicians we have had make the 9th grade ensemble in the history of RHS!
