Congratulations to everyone on a fantastic marching season! As we dive into concert season, please look for communication from your individual band director regarding your specific section rehearsal schedule. Every student has 1 section rehearsal scheduled before or after school each week in preparation for our Winter Concert on Wednesday, December 8th.

Lost & Found
Any remaining items in the lost and found pile in the band library will be donated to Goodwill and/or RISD clothes closet during Thanksgiving week if it is still there. If you have misplaced anything from marching season, be sure you check that area to see if it is there this week.

Wednesday, December 8
RHS Winter Concert @ RHS Auditorium – 7:30pm
The RHS Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Symphonic Winds, Wind Symphony, and Jazz Band will perform in this festive end-of-semester concert. More details to follow regarding specific call times and concert attire. Concert shoes, tux shirts, etc. will be delivered before Thanksgiving.
Friday & Saturday, December 10 & 11
TMEA All-Region Auditions @ Duncanville HS
All 10-12 grade students (and select 9th graders) in Wind Symphony and Symphonic Winds are required to audition for All-Region. Be sure you are practicing your 3 Etudes for your instrument and submitting your assignments in Google Classroom for a grade. Students in Symphonic Band and Concert Band have alternate etudes that will be passed off for a grade in the coming weeks, as well. The due date for all etudes is Friday, December 10.
