This annual 5K march is our largest fundraiser and it’s easy to help!
Did you know it takes over $100,000 yearly to keep the band going? In order to maintain low fees, school-purchased instruments, and scholarships, we ask every Golden Eagle Band student to obtain a minimum of $250 in pledges.
Finding sponsors for the March-A-Thon (MAT) is a simple way to keep fees to a minimum. Most other fundraisers require more time and effort for parents and students.
The fastest way to meet the goal is to secure at least one corporate sponsorship, which starts at $250.
- Ask businesses that you frequent or ones where you have connections to support GEB.
- BEFORE contacting any company to ask for sponsorship, you MUST check the SignUpGenius page here for a list of suggested companies to ensure no one else is already soliciting them!

All GEB members will march a 5K for donations. We play throughout the streets near RHS, and if chosen, families will get the chance to have special concerts at their house for donations of $75 or more. Is your house or a friend/relative on the route? Check the packet!
Taking donations. Use the Donation Tracker Form, included in your packet, to record all donations and sponsorships including those taken online, matching gifts, in-kind donations. Donation receipts are also included in your packet. Please fill these out and give them to sponsors for their tax records. Additional copies of the Sponsorship Form and Donation Receipts can be printed by clicking on the buttons below.
