Musical Rehearsals (if applicable)
Tuesday, January 22 – 4:30 PM-8:30 PM (with singers in Auditorium)
Saturday, January 26 – 1:00 PM-7:00 PM (with singers in Auditorium)
All-Region Clinic and Concert 01/24/19-01/25/19 (if applicable)
If you are participating in the TMEA All-Region Clinic and Concert, please see TWIGEB email for specific details regarding the event. Below are a couple of reminders:
In order to cover meals (3) for the event, every participating student must turn in $25.00 by Thursday, January 24th. Please place cash or check in the safe located in the director’s hallway in an envelope labeled All-Region Clinic Meals. If you are paying by check, make the check out to RABC and in the memo line write All-Region Clinic Meals.
Transportation to and from Mesquite will be provided, except on Friday night. At the completion of the concert, students will checkout with a RHS director. Parents/legal guardians will pick-up student(s) at the end of their performance. Students will take their concert wear home and return it the following Monday.

Call time for Thursday is 4:15 PM; call time for Friday is 6:45 AM. We will load buses right after.
On Friday morning, inspection will occur in the in the band hall; students will need their instrument, music and all of their concert attire items in a uniform bag.
Pep Rally 01/25/19
The last pep rally of the year is this Friday! The attire for the event is your Danza de la Rosa show shirt and jeans. Anyone ineligible due to failing grades will be unable to perform with the band. Please have your flip folder, lyre and marching instrument. Call time will be 9:00 AM in the RHS band hall.
This pep rally is very important and everyone is require to be present with the correct attire! 8th graders from all over the district will be invited to come see our campus and learn about the magnet programs. It is imperative that WE bring our A game with our focus, spirit and musicianship. You could be the reason these 8th graders 1) come to RHS for a magnet program and 2) stay in band. In addition, our guard will be performing so make sure to show them your support!
Mattress Palooza 01/26/19
Our Mattress Palooza fundraiser will be on Saturday, January 26th from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM in the RHS Band Hall; please continue to spread the word. Sign-up sheets will be available on Tuesday after school for student volunteers; students may sign up for one, two or all three shifts – service hours will be awarded and the best part is that you get to wear a mattress costume!
Shift 1: Check in 9:30 AM, volunteer from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Shift 2: Check in 11:30 AM, volunteer from 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM
Shift 3: Check in 1:30 AM, volunteer from 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Lunch/dinner will be on your own.
