Below is the game plan should it rain on Monday and/or Tuesday for our marching band rehearsals:
All students will need to bring water, instrument, equipment, bell covers, masks, correct attire, etc. Woodwinds do not forget your reeds.
Front Ensemble and Sousaphones will be screened at the fine arts door (as regular). Front ensemble will rehearse in the band hall (as past rehearsals). Sousaphones will be screened at the fine arts door (as regular), grab their instrument and head to the Multi-purpose Activity Center (MAC) through the school. Front ensemble and sousaphone students will be picked up outside the band hall.
Battery will be screened at the fine arts door (as regular). You will grab your drums and head to the auditorium. Battery will rehearse on-stage. Please do not place anything in the seats. Battery may also join the front ensemble in the band hall for part of their rehearsal. Battery students will be picked up outside the band hall.
Color Guard will be screened at the fine arts doors. If you need to grab your flag, you can do so in the band hall. Only one student is allowed in the guard room at a time. Guard will head to the small gym through the school. Color guard students will be picked up outside the band hall.
Woodwinds and Brass will meet at the Multi-purpose Activity Center (MAC) off of Mimosa Dr. Students will be screened and head to their spot. YOU WILL BRING YOUR INSTRUMENT INSIDE THE CASE. If you need to grab your instrument in the band hall, you can do so once the bell rings after school. You can also pick it up before 5:30 PM. Please note that director will allow only one student in the locker room at a time. Woodwind and brass students will be picked up at the MAC.
Should it not rain, everything will stay as regular.
