Grades!
Grades are being finalized starting Wednesday, March 6th. Students and parents, please check FOCUS.
Students – please turn in all assignments and make up any work ASAP! If you fail, it will make you ineligible for our Meyerson performance (WS/SW), UIL, Winterguard Contests and South Padre with NO REFUNDS of your $450 payment. YOU MUST PASS!
SNAP Fundraiser 03/04/19
Please see attached letter on TWIGEB. All students are to collect 20 emails, type them into their phone and have them by Monday, March 4th.
Concerto Competition Prelims 03/04/19
If you have signed-up Concerto Competition, make sure you have completed the following:
- have made two copies of your solos (not originals)
- written down your audition time
- contacted your accompanist for the finals event (should you advance)
Due to the great amount of students who signed up, the directors will be listening to Symphonic Winds, Symphonic Band and Concert Band students during classes on Monday. Wind Symphony will be after school. This change is in the benefit of the students as some would be at school until midnight on a Monday night, the week when grades are being finalized. In an event that school is cancelled due to inclement weather on Monday, prelims will occur on Tuesday.
The prelims round will occur in the RHS band hall

Concerto Competition Finals 03/07/19
Richardson High School is proudly to present the Howard Dunn Richardson Area Concerto Competition! This is an event that gives students an opportunity to perform a solo which exhibits both their musicianship and training. COME SUPPORT YOUR FRIENDS!

Location: Richardson High School Auditorium
Refreshments will be provided after the concert!
AP Music Theory Practice Test 03/08/19
AP MT students – this is your friendly reminder that we will taking the AP Music Theory practice test on Friday, March 8th. You will be blocked for 2nd-5th period. If we finish the test early, you will head to class.
