Our MOST IMPORTANT contest of the year is coming up on Wednesday: UIL! Details for the contest are below. Here’s how the blocking situation is working: You fall into one of three situations: Contest block: You are blocked from 1-7th period. You will report to rehearsal directly at 9:00am. Get your school work in advance from your teachers if AT ALL POSSIBLE. A-Block: You are blocked from 4-7th period. GEB takes Bronze at Desoto!

It was a banner day this past Saturday as the GEB traveled to Desoto to compete in the 27th Annual Desoto Marching Classic. After two outstanding performances, the Golden Eagle Band earned the following high honors for the day: Outstanding Winds (Class AAA) Outstanding Marching (Class AAA) Outstanding General Effect (Class AAA) Outstanding Guard (Class AAA) Best in Class (Class AAA) 3rd Place Overall Congratulations to the students for these outstanding achievements and a HUGE thank you to all the parents who volunteered to make this event possible! Next weekend, the contest season continues with the Wylie Marching Invitational!

Desoto Marching Classic

Our first contest of the season is this Saturday, October 12th at Desoto HS Stadium. Below is ALL the information you’ll need for the day.
