Remember to always check <a href=\"https:\/\/richardsonband.org\/\">richardsonband.org<\/a> for the most updated schedule.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Area Results<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Thank you to the 9 students who participated in the TMEA Area C auditions today. You all have represented our school and district in great fashion! We appreciate your hard work and are so proud of you. Additionally, Anna Fitzgerald (senior, alto saxophone) made the 6A All-State Band! Anna will be performing at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention in February.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Musical Rehearsal Schedule 01\/16\/18 (if applicable)<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Our next pit orchestra musical rehearsal is on Tuesday, Jan. 16 &#8211; 9:00 AM &#8211; 5:00 PM. You will have an hour and half for lunch; lunch is on your own (12:00 PM &#8211; 1:30 PM).<\/p>\n<p><b><i>All-Region Clinic and Concert 01\/18\/18-01\/19\/18 (if applicable)<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>If you are participating in the TMEA All-Region Clinic and Concert, please read over the email sent on Friday, Jan. 12th with specific details regarding the event. Below are a couple of reminders:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In order to cover meals for the event, every participating student must turn in $25.00 by Thursday, January 18<sup>th<\/sup>. Please place cash or check in the safe located in the director\u2019s hallway in an envelope labeled <i>All-Region Clinic Meals<\/i>. If you are paying by check, make the check out to RABC and in the memo line write <i>All-Region Clinic Meals<\/i>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Transportation to and from Forney will be provided, except on Friday night.\u00a0 At the completion of the concert, students will checkout with a RHS director. Parents\/legal guardians will pick-up student(s) at the end of their performance. Students will take their concert wear home and return it the following Monday.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b> <\/b><b>CONCERT LOCATION<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Forney High School<\/p>\n<p>800 FM 741<\/p>\n<p>Forney, 75126<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Call time for Thursday is 4:15 PM; call time for Friday is 6:45 AM.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspection will occur in the in the band hall; students will need their instrument, music and all of their concert attire items in a uniform bag<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><i>Pep Rally 01\/19\/18<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>The last pep rally of the year is this Friday! The attire for the event is your Purple Dri-fit shirt and jeans. Anyone ineligible due to failing grades will be unable to perform with the band. Please have your flip folder, lyre and marching instrument. Call time will be 9:00 AM in the RHS band hall.<\/p>\n<p>This pep rally is very important! 8th graders from all over the district will be invited to come see our campus and learn about the magnet programs. It is imperative that WE bring our A game with our focus, spirit and musicianship. You could be the reason these 8th graders 1) come to RHS for a magnet program and 2) stay in band.
