Eagle-Mustang 5K Color Run

Good afternoon band family! This Saturday, March 21, is the annual Eagle-Mustang 5K Color Run. This event begins at Eagle-Mustang Stadium at RHS, and the Golden Eagle Band has traditionally played at the beginning of the race. This performance is required for all leadership and drumline members. If you are unable to attend, you are expected to find a substitute for this event. RHS Band Family, We hope that everyone had a great first week of school. Now we can all start getting into the swing of things in week 2! Here’s this week’s TWIGEB (titled 1.2 for Six Weeks #1, Week 2) Regular Rehearsals Continue Now that school has started, we will begin the regular rehearsal schedule of 7:00am-8:30am Monday through Friday. Leadership Camp Reminder

2014-2015 Leadership Team, I hope that your summer has been restful and highly enjoyable! We’re all ready to kick things off for this next season and the first step in that process is Leadership Training. We look forward to seeing you next Monday-Wednesday from 5p-9p. You’ll want to dress in “marching appropriate” attire and bring water as we’ll be going outside each evening. You will not need your instruments. Fun Run Info!

When: Saturday, November 9th, 2013 from approximately 7:15am – 10:15am Where: Galatyn Park 6:30am-7:00am: Band Hall will be open for students to pick up instruments such as sousaphones and percussion. Those of you with smaller instruments – please take them home Friday night. 7:15am: Meet at Galatyn Park with instruments, lyres, and folios. Leave all cases in your vehicles. Parking may be tight, so it would be advantageous to carpool with others. March-a-thon Help!

Are you looking for a fun and easy way to support the RHS Golden Eagle Band as we get ready for March-A-Thon? This opportunity is just for you! We need adults/parents to drive a group of band members along a portion of our March-A-Thon parade route on two Saturdays prior to the event. The band members will place prepared door hangers on the houses along the route to advertise the upcoming event.
